Choose your cruise: Which tour is best for you?

Whether you enjoy sunset sessions with tunes or want to forge a deeper connection with local history and Indigenous culture through tucker and stories, our tours will immerse you in coast and culture.

With so many ways to experience our beautiful coast and its rich cultural heritage, it can be hard to decide how to get amongst it.

We get it. To help clear that indecision-fog, we’re sharing the highlights of our tours below so you can choose how you’d like to explore the Sunshine Coast with conviction.

Sunset Tour + Live Music

Featuring a lineup of some of the best musicians from across the Sunshine Coast and beyond, our Sunset Tours with Live Music are popular for a reason.

Departing every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon in time for sunset, passengers enjoy a glass of bubbles and a grazing box of local fare as they watch the sun dip below the horizon, soothing tunes from artists like Pat Tierney and Andrea Kirwin in the background.

Perfect for: Couples and groups of friends who like great tunes and sunset sessions on the water.

Jump onboard: Friday - Sunday

What past passengers are saying:

“I booked on with Saltwater Ecotours for the sunset sail with live music and had a fantastic experience. From the second you walk onboard you are greeted with a complementary drink and get to feast your eyes on the beauty of this classic sailboat. As the tour started Simon, the captain, gave an insightful history of the vessel and acknowledgement of the land we ventured on. The music was lovely, food was tasty, sights were gorgeous, and overall it was a perfect way to spend a Friday night! Also-checkout the Eco Tours shop in the wharf after for the local ingredients used in the drinks and stunning art pieces by First Nations artists. I'm keen to checkout their other tours as well!”

Bushtucker Cruise

This cruise is all about local, fresh product and native foods— also known as bush tucker. Saltwater Chef  takes passengers on a delectable tour of seasonal native foods, sourced locally from sustainable producers and suppliers, such as My Dilly Bag and Galeru Farm. Think refreshing flavours from ingredients like fingerlime, Davidson plum, lemon myrtle, wattle seed and macadamia, paired with fresh seafood and other fare.

While you dine, explore the waterways of the Sunshine Coast from a cultural and sustainable perspective with commentary from captain, Simon Thornally. And finish the experience off by hearing the didgeridoo or crew member Nathan singing his traditional Torres Strait Islands songs.

Perfect for: Couples looking for a unique, romantic dining experience, families, visitors to the Sunshine Coast, and locals with an appetite for distinctive flavours. All ages welcome.

Jump onboard: Tuesday -  Sunday. 11.30 - 1.30pm.

What past passengers are saying:
