Saltwater Eco Tours departs from The Wharf Mooloolaba, located at 123 Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba, in the heart of the Sunshine Coast.

Our office is easy to find, situated directly opposite Spero Greek Restaurant. To board your cruise, head to the marina entrance located behind the restaurant and follow the jetty. You'll find our vessel moored beside the iconic blue tower at The Wharf.

There is ample parking available at The Wharf car park, with most spaces offering a 4-hour parking limit. 

Allowing Additional time for parking on weekends and public holidays is recommended as it does get quite busy.

Travelling by public transport? A bus stop is located directly outside The Wharf Mooloolaba, making public transport a simple and sustainable way to reach your cruise departure. We encourage guests to consider public transport where possible as part of our commitment to caring for the local environment as well as a stress free way to access Mooloolaba without worrying about finding a car park.

We aim to make all our experiences as accessible as possible. While our main vessel deck still has obstacles and is not wheelchair friendly (with three steps down a ladder to the bathroom and saloon area), our Guided Canoe Tours are now fully launched and 100% accessible.

Everyone can now enjoy paddling the Mooloolah River safely, with adaptive equipment and a guided experience designed for all abilities.

Yes, we have a comfortable bathroom on board, along with modern facilities and a welcoming saloon area for guests to relax if needed.

Please note, accessing the bathroom and saloon requires three steps down a ladder, so assistance may be required for those with limited mobility.

Saltwater Eco Tours requires a minimum number of guests to operate our Mooloolaba river cruises and tours . While this is uncommon, there may be occasions when a tour does not reach the minimum passenger requirement.

If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible via email or phone to discuss your options. We will do our best to accommodate you on another available tour date so you can still enjoy your Mooloolaba experience.

If rescheduling isn't suitable, you are entitled to a full refund.

Our goal is always to provide the best possible experience for our guests, and we appreciate your understanding should a tour need to be adjusted due to minimum booking requirements.

Your safety is our highest priority on all Saltwater Eco Tours experiences. 

Our cruises operate in most weather conditions, including light rain. However, if severe weather, strong winds, storms, or other conditions create a safety risk, we may postpone or cancel a tour.

If adverse weather is forecast, we will contact you as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours of your scheduled departure, to provide an update on your tour status.

In the rare event that a tour is postponed due to weather, you can:

Request a full refund if the above options are not suitable

We only cancel tours when weather conditions present a genuine safety concern, ensuring you can enjoy your Moolooaba boat tour with confidence.

Cancellations less than 48 hours of departure will forfeit the full cost of the trip. Failure to turn up for your trip incurs a 100% cancellation fee- No refund. 

Cancellations within 7 days prior can receive a credit/voucher. No refunds within 7 days.

Note - Expiry of credit/voucher is 3 years from date of issue.

Our vessel has a fully licensed bar with a range of local beers wines, local spirits and specialty cocktails, so we don't offer BYO.

Yes, we can accommodate some dietary requirements when requested at the time of booking. Please let us know your needs in advance so we can ensure your experience is enjoyable and safe.
