Important Considerations
for Your Tour
We’re excited to welcome you aboard for a unique experience blending culture, cuisine, and cruising on the water. To ensure the comfort, safety, and smooth running of each journey, please review the following important considerations:
Minimum Passenger Policy
Our tours require a minimum of 8 passengers to operate. This helps us manage the logistics of catering, live music, crew coordination, and vessel operation.
- If this minimum is not met, we will contact you:
- 2 days prior to your scheduled tour, and again
- The afternoon before departure
- In this case, you will be offered:
- A rescheduled tour date
- A 3-year valid credit voucher, or
- A refund, at the discretion of the owner
We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us deliver a memorable and smooth experience for everyone onboard.
Wet Weather Policy
While we embrace the elements, severe weather such as heavy rain or strong winds may impact the safety or enjoyment of your tour. In such cases:
- The Captain will assess the conditions and make a final decision.
- We do our best to proceed in light rain, as our vessel has some protective coverings.
- If the tour is cancelled, we will offer:
- A rescheduled date
- A 3-year valid voucher, or
- A refund, at the owner's discretion
Footwear Guidelines
To preserve the beauty of our 117-year-old timber deck, we kindly ask:
- No high heels, boots, or black-soled/scuffing shoes
- Guests may remove their shoes prior to boarding
- A basket is provided on the jetty for safe storage
Your cooperation helps us protect this historic vessel for future generations.
Comfort & Weather Readiness
The weather can shift quickly on the water, so we recommend:
- Rugging up in cooler months - we provide blankets onboard
- Bringing sun protection year-round, even in winter, we do supply Ochre sun screen on board
- Enjoying our sheltered areas, including:
- The covered deck
- The cockpit
- The enclosed saloon
